The Silverton Kicksled offers a great workout as well as an exciting trip down the mountain. The sled body is made from American white ash, while the runners are made from tempered steel with polished and waxed edges. The sled's handle is constructed from a willow branch which has been hand-carved for a perfect fit and polished to show its natural, unique beauty. Multiple coats of UV-resistant, lead-free finish will protect the sled from the elements. The sled also includes an elastic pocket behind the seat that fits a sweater or a lunchbox. Folding down the sled is easy, and it reduces in size from 36 inches to 7 inches tall. Each kicksled is signed and numbered by the sledmaker in the Silverton, CO, workshop, giving it a unique personalized quality. You also have to option to hand-engrave your child's name right onto the sled. Lettering is 2 inches tall and runs lengthwise up the center of the sled. The kicksled seats an adult or a child.
